WORDS FROM THE WOMB… Welcome to my blog, Endo the Patriarchy! Here, I explore and unravel the effects of patriarchy on womxn’s mind-body & spirit, inspired by my experience living with endometriosis. It is a compilation of personal experience,...
The ups and downs on my journey to belly love… Back when I was about 22. I was on the subway, coming home from an astrology class, sitting next to a fellow student that I didn’t know very well. She was a Leo, I believe, which is my opposite, as an Aquarius. She...

Hi, I’m Serena. I am founder of Willowroot Healing Arts, where I help people find relief from pelvic pain and womb trauma and help ease transitions through pregnancy, post-partum and menopause. I am the lucky mother of an amazing daughter and partner to a wonderful man. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis (endo’s lovely cousin). My purpose with this blog is to share my experiences about living with and learning from this disease and how it has awakened my fierce passion for reclaiming my body, my power and shedding light on the dark side of being a woman in a female body in a patriarchal world. It is also an ongoing log of my mind-body healing journey from a holistic perspective.
